software help - invacare TDX SP"

Postby Presland123 » 01 Oct 2025, 10:46

Hi, I am trying to help one of my customers.

I have changed laptops recently and reinstalled the software for the various systems I use across the range of power chairs and mobility scooters and whilst mobility programmer and wizard are working fine (with their respective switch box cable someone kindly provided attached pic) I cant get the software to work that I have previously used (for curtis programmers when I used the attached cable labeled 1309 and this particular chair invacare TDX SP") Its on windows 10.

Also, I am not sure if I lost a cable when my van was broken into as the 4 pin connector obviously wont fit the socket on the wheelchair, but I know I have managed to programme this chair before as I slowed down the turn speed for the user.

The reason for needing to re-programme is that the user is unfortunately not able to use the joystick themselves and when the assist joystick is used, even at max speed it barely turns left or right for some reason.

I hope someone can help as you all have been very helpful before which has enabled me to help many customers. I have another cable question but I will ask that seperatley (as I know I need a new cable for connecting to the original purple dynamic rhino controller with the round connector as this was stolen in the break in).

Thank you in advance David (mobility maintenance peterborough)

I am a bit confused as to what we are trying to achieve.

I cant get the software to work that I have previously used (for curtis programmers when I used the attached cable labeled 1309 and this particular chair invacare TDX SP") Its on windows 10.

Because that chair has a dynamic control system as far as I know. So curtis instruments wont work?

As far as cables go, the man that knew all that was woodygb and he is no longer with us. RIP.

Hi thanks for the reply. I hadn't realised Woody (who was the master re cables) was no longer with us, RIP.

So my main aim is to get a solution to getting access to the software and any new cables I need to tap into the invacare chair so I can help this customer. Otherwise, the chair is not usable for the customer.

Sorry for any confusion about the curtis as I was sure I have also used this cable to update curtis controllers, I must have been mistaken.

PM me...

You may well have updated some curtis controllers. But as far as I know I dont think you will find curtis instements, or curtiss wright, controllers on any invacare chairs, as they own dynamic controls...

your correct, forgetting about the curtis controllers, the controller I am trying to get into is a Dynamic DX2 90L.

from what I can see I need LiNX software so I am hunting around for this and any special cables I need.

Thanks

Hi everyone, John, would you be so kind as to share this with us as well? Woody sent it to us, but it's out of date. Thanks.
