On board charger? So you cant lose it! And charge at other places.
What is an inhibit for? If you use an actuator for say tilt or lift it allows you to connect a microswitch so that it can go into a slower speed that you program in.
What use is a seating actuator connection?
If theres nothing complicated it will work say tilt or recline.
So you dont need buy a 6 channel £££ fancy seating module.

The On-Board Charger could be said to be a charging port....

It connects directly to the battery. So same as XLR port or just connecting directly to the battery.

The XLR plug does not use the onboard charger connection, and MAY actually work opposite from the onboard charger connection...

The XLR plug basically uses the same wires that usually supply power to the joystick module to feed power back through the power module to the battery.... It provides a safety interlock by connecting the 3rd pin in the connector to ground. (IOW an 'active low' signal)

The onboard supply is a charger that provides power directly to batteries via the power module. It usually inhibits the chair by the fact that it is putting a positive voltage on the onboard power connector. (IOW, an 'active high' signal).... When the charger is disconnected from the AC, it went low.... The original setup on my Jazzy had an onboard charger, which was very convenient because I just had to plug the power cord (stowed in a little compartment on the back of the chair) into an AC outlet.

When the onboard charger died I had a very confusing mess - the chair would work if I plugged an external charger into the XLR plug, but not if I didn't plug any charger in... It was a hint I got here that told me I needed to get into the programming and switch the inhibit signal from high to low...
