Hello everyone, looking for prices on the web I found this place in Barcelona Spain, which I think has good products. I leave you the most current price list that I found. SEVTRONIC.COM I hope it works!

One of me front lights has blown, it's off a Salsa R2.

I've proved it by unplugging both lights from the R-Net and swapping them over L-R.

I've not opened it up but but looking through the glass it looks to have a tiny LED perhaps soldered to a cct board?

I'm trying to source a replacement. Or alternatively I remember seeing someone in the forum with nicer mini-maglite type front lights. I need a pair of decent headlights when popping to the local shops on a winters evening.

The ones on the salsa aren't bad, but I don't like the look of them much. Any ideas on where I can source a replacement, or replace LED, or fit a cooler style of front light? 8-)

No longer required.

I've since abandoned fitting new front lights and now have a little COB led torch hanging on the armrest.

COB led's are brilliant, I never seen them before.

Here you can buy motors with gearboxes (note that they offer R-Net plugs, Dynamic, Curtis and Anderson plugs): https://www.electrocraft.com/products/gearmotors/MPP36/

As of this post they have a 27 week delivery time! So order well in advance.
My rides:
1 BM2/BM3 with 120 A R-Net and Odessey (Lithium in 2016)
1 SKS Swiss VIVA (spare, as only NF22 size battery)
2 Progeo YOGA (for traveling)

Does anyone know where to purchase this plug? It is the main power connector that plugs into the R Net Controller.

You can order it from PG Drives I think. But you can more easily order it from any manufacturer that has an r-net or pilot plus or VR2 controller on any of their chairs as part of a short cable that is called a battery loom.

You also dont really need one. The stock larger sized blade connectors as used on lots of cars etc are a perfect fit and do not need the plastic part. Just heat shrink the connector.

I got a couple from some sunrise chairs from eBay. Battery loom for a "tango" and a "Salsa" chair. Just be careful as some have thicker looms, and 120A fuses and some less.

Do you have a good source for the larger blade terminals. Thanks for quick response

I think they are the 9.5 or 10mm ones, cant remember. I just picked up a pack from my local motorist discount shop. Where all the boy racers get their stick on tat.

Quick look on eBay fnds plenty of the ones I think they are. 10 (9.5) millimeter ones.
Dont crimp! Solder. Then use internally heat activated heat shrink.

I have been digging through the forum trying to find a link to purchase the headway batteries. I don't find anywhere here in the states and was hoping for some direction from someone who may have recently purchased.

Thank you,

Right .

New prismatic cell are easier to handle with much higher capacity, though Headway ones are still available.

Headways are high C rate compared to the prismatic cells. But now that those are available in large capacities, so that you can fit maybe 200Ah plus in the place of lead then the high C rate headways no longer needed.

Even a 1C 200Ah pack can do 200Amps and that only happens once in a blue moon on most peoples powerchairs due to programming etc.

So prismatics in LARGE CAPACITY can still do adequate current regardless. The time of headways is long gone. You can get 2 to 3x the Ah in the same volume today using prismatic cells.

That has huge benefits for cell longevity. Because average daily discharge percentage is proportionally less. So instead of say 1000 or 1500 cycles you get 10x this!

And because they are bigger Ah in the same volume you get 2.5 to 3x the range. While leaving more in reserve. And because of capacity you can charge maybe 3x less often so now you use up the charge cycles much more slowly. So you get more cycles and use them less often too. Result is that if charged correctly they will outlive the chair and you. And it isnt more expensive. It works out about 5x less than lead long term, while getting 500% better range. A 5x bigger tank!

Headways have a place in say an ADDON pack which needs higher C rate as its small. Sometimes.

Just to give one example of a use case quite different from Burgerman's, our daughter Rachele (Rachi) weighs only ca. 40 kg and her homemade chair with 208 AHr prismatic LiFePO4 weighs only about 100 kg, but also has a voice-output PC fed from the chair batteries that is active all day long. We charge and balance at 3.535 volts once every 2 weeks, and at that point it's used about 100 AHr. These cells should last close to forever and we have a backup pack kept at 50-70% SOC just in case.
