Reverse joystick actuator

Postby playafly187 » 14 Aug 2024, 15:09

I recently picked up a second-hand Quickie S-636 with R-Net and a CJSM1 joystick. I have no experience with this platform as all of my other chairs have used Qtronix stuff. Anyway, as it sits now, when adjusting tilt, you have to push forward on the joystick to tilt the chair back, and pull back on the stick to lower it back down. Can this be flipped in programming? I want to pull back on the stick to tilt back and push forward to lower. I poked around some in the OBM but didn't see anything to change this.

OBP is basic. At best.

You probably need a dongle and OEM software to set this. I cant check this right OBP nonsense right now. But its definitely reversable in software.

See below, I just changed it from YES to NO on that TILT channel. So it is displayed in yellow until sent to the chair. Super easy.

Ah, thanks for the quick reply. What should I expect to pay for a used dongle, and any recommended sources? I hit eBay and found exactly one for north of $300. Ouch.

Thats about what you wil pay for new.

But theres 2 types. OEM is best. Very hard to find. But theres a way to use a DEALER A version to do the same thing if you know how. And I can tell you...

Thing is that I find all chairs impossible to drive and they behave like hovercraft. Until I sort out the programming and turn them into a natural linear easy to control device. And so a programmer isnt useful its esential.

I also put my TILT on a button on the CJSM2 but you cant do that.

Hi,

I'm a french father. My 10 years old daughter just change her wheelchair (last wednesday) from a permobil koala to a magix2 with the CJSM2 RNET.
I'm interested to use the dealer software as the oem.
I have to reverse the Y axis forthe lift and I don't have all the option like your screenshot.

Hope you can help me

PS : Sorry if I do some mistakes in English, I'm not fluent
