Tilt in space function moving on its own.

Postby Smark67 » 24 Dec 2024, 22:46

My tilt in space function on my Permobil F5 is sporadically tilting forward on its own. This happens when I've released the joystick after tilting, it happens when I'm using one of the other functions i.e. backrest or footrests, and has even happened a couple of times whilst on drive. Any ideas please? Thanks.

Its probably (possibly?) to do with the permobil made:
Immobile Control System,
Instant Crisis System,
In CIrcuit Spoiler,
Intermittent Control System,
Instant Crash System,
Integrated Cash System,
Interactive Claims System (warranty)

Or whatever ICS actually stands for. Its a black box so only permobil can know.

You can check on cables, connections, etc including on actuators and thats about it I think. May be a feedback position sensor on an actuator on their complex system. If its just one channel.
