Electric motor replacement

Looking for guidance. I'm trying to replace an electric motor that is in one of my power chairs and I'm having a hard time finding a compatible replacement. See pictures. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. The company listed on the label no longer exists.

How does it fit/drive what does the gearbox look like and what is its impedance?

It connects to the gearbox via a belt. The motor is mounted to the back side of the gearbox and there is a tension strap that holds it in place. I know I'm not doing a very good job of explaining exactly how this thing is mounted so I apologize. If I could take a photo I would but I physically am unable to do that myself right now.

I doubt its the motor though.

It is 100% the motor. I've already had the motor checked out and the brushes are completely worn down and the armature is in very bad condition. The guy I have looking at it is trying to rebuild it for me but I would prefer to find a replacement.

Have you tried Grainger, they are an industrial supply house and are among the bigger suppliers of assorted motors... They are supposedly 'business only' so you may need to get someone to purchase it for you (If your motor guy is a pro, he probably has an account with them...)

I did check with Grainger but didn't find a match. Found a shop that can repair the motor and should have it back by next week. Thanks for the suggestion.
