R-Net mode

Postby Toro » 30 Sep 2025, 13:48

I just recently bought a r-net programmer and learning how to use it. I've come up with a speed bump were it's telling me when I connected to my laptop to put it in trip mode, does anyone know if that's correct and how is that achieved?

On the bottom right-hand corner of the PC interface it says not connected, does that change?

When I connected directly to the chair and control I can access the settings no problem.

Any help would be much appreciated, Cheers

The joystick must be on when connecting to a PC. Is it on?

Never heard of trip mode.
When I connected directly to the chair and control I can access the settings no problem.

Can you explain exactly what this means?

Orange thing or black dongle?
Did you install the USB/SERIAL PORT driver? Win 10 or 11? Which R-Net version? Dealer or OEM? what type of hat are you wearing? Should be a "trump is right about everything" one. Where does it say to put in trip mode, windows, R-Net software, chairs screen?

Yes I understand that the joystick must be on, which it is.

It's a dealers dongle I believe, I bought it from Power soccer shop. installed the program using the CD that came with it. Windows 11 is on my laptop.

I can change settings when the dongle is just plugged in to the joystick and wheelchair, but when I connected to the laptop by USB it's not picking it up.

Lets try this again because you did not answer. If you ignore the questons I cant tell you what is wrong.

Never heard of trip mode.
WHERE is this displayed? Joystick or PC windows or in the software???

When I connected directly to the chair and control I can access the settings no problem.

Can you explain exactly what this means?
WHAT do we mean, where are you accessing settings? Joystick or PC? Wirelessely via brower or just OBP?

Orange thing or black dongle???
Which programmer? Is it the wireless one or the black traditional one???

Did you install the USB/SERIAL PORT driver???
Win 10 or 11 driver?

Which R-Net version? 6. something...
dealer or OEM? Does the dongle have A or B on it?

What type of hat are you wearing? Should be a "trump is right about everything" one.

It's a dealers dongle I believe, I bought it from Power soccer shop.

Does it have an A or a B on its label, is it orange wireless or the traditional black USB only one?
installed the program using the CD that came with it. Windows 11 is on my laptop.

Did you, or it install the DRIVER??? Which one? (3rd time!) Theres a windows 11 driver and about 4 different windows 10 ones.

I throw away that useless disk. And wouldnt use windows 11 to save my life.

I can change settings when the dongle is just plugged in to the joystick and wheelchair, but when I connected to the laptop by USB it's not picking it up.

Again.... HOW? On the joystick streen? Wirelessely on the orange new dongle via a browser or ???

as I mentioned it's a dealers model, which is A, that is also the black dongle.

When I mentioned the controller I do mean joystick controller otherwise I would have said laptop. So when plugged into the joystick I can access the standings by the joystick.

drivers were installed manually, by my brother in law.

I don't have any other drivers other than what the disc was supplied, if anyone has the latest version, I would appreciate if you could pass it on.

Right.

If you use dealer version then all it does when plugged into the chair is to allow you to access OBP which is the same thing as dealer version software on your PC.
If you want to connect to the PC then you can use that disk which is a waste of time, as it will be an out of date generic version. With either no driver or the old windows 10 driver on it.

I throw those old round things away.

You need to install the windows 11 drivers to get anything working on that terrible operating system. (Or junk it and use 10 LTSC...)

Here are the 11 drivers.
https://www.wheelchairdriver.com/progra ... DRIVER.zip
With instructions.

Install those, and try again.

When it works, PM me and I will tell you how and where to use that with the OEM level tools you really need...
