Hello From Hemet, California

Postby scrollsawman » 07 Mar 2017, 23:34

Hi everyone. I am a retired Air Force Veteran with 20 years of service. I retired from the AF on 1 Aug 1985. I then went to work as a Communications Defense Contractor on Vandenberg AFB for another 27 years. I retired from that job on 1 Feb 2012 as a Senior Systems Engineer during which time I supported 752 missile launches to test missiles or put satellites in polar orbits. This January 21st my wife and I will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We have two children, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. I like woodworking and Family History Research.

Hi there, a warm welcome from the Uk. Sounds like you've had a busy life. I too am researching my families ancestry. Fascinating for me with plenty of skeletons in the cupboard.
