I'm from Australia and just getting into this wheelchair business. I suffer from COPD a lung, heart problem which slowly has limited my ability to get around due to breathlessness. Progressed from walking stick to wheelie walker and now getting a wheelchair. Found the Wheelchair Driver .com site via Google and have been down loading pages of information on the MK2 chair. Trouble is F55 chairs even on Ebay cost a bomb in Oz, so am waiting till the right on comes up. In the mean time will follow site with interest.

Stock F55 chairs are basically rubbish. Dont buy one unless as a starting point for some similar project as 90 percent of it will go in the rubbish bin.

Was looking at the F55 to modify down the track a bit, as it is what you based your M2 etc. on. Until then will need to use as transport shopping etc. Thank you for replying to my first post.
