Anyone know what these are? I planted some unknown microscopic seeds from a plastic bag in my garage. 3 weeks ago. They are like triffids and taking over. They just keep growing superfast. I have had to trim them back several times so I can get into the doorway properly.

Thats definitely it!

Alternatively, as they are fast-growing, they may be sown in situ in May or June.

Which is what I did!

And aparently also, you can eat them, and its an antibiotic!

When its a bit bigger I will eat the bits I chopped off and let you know how that goes!

Nasturtiums! Yours are looking gorgeous. They are delicious - stem, leaves and flowers. The leaves add some zing and the flowers do as well, plus they look pretty garnishing salads. Maybe nasturtiums even have more health benefits than a steak. No face, though, it appears. Don't chop them up, just munch them.

Im going to feel awfully weird eating flowers...
They look even better today after a few days sun. Many more flowers and they are growing in every direction. Like the beanstalk.

Dont normally photograph flowers. But wanted some decent colourful images for my 4K 55 inch OLED PC monitor... As Windows background. These are almost indescribably red! And orange, and yellow. They look spectacular on an OLED TV. Sadly the jpg compression used to make them small enough files to post here makes all the backgrounds "bandy" and ruins them. And 1/5th original size. But about 200MB each... And crazy sharp!

This is why I dont use a phone for a camera. Colours are not clean enough, lens not good enough. These were in my garden in a pot. You will need to click a few times to display these at full 4K size...
This is plant porn. Some of these plants are diplaying their penis(s)?

tiny fly 2mm 3840x2160.jpg
On this one I focussed on the fly. It was tiny. About 1.5 to 2 mm. Depth of focus is less than 1mm with this lens at close range so not easy. Breathing puts it miles out of focus so I had to stop! Temporarily.
