I can tell you. BMS. Undersized cells for the current required. And lithium ion. Instead of LiFePO4.

Some 12V powertools for e.g use 3x 18650 cells. Lithium ion fireworks. With NO balance system, no BMS.

Inc Bosch. They dont last long. But there have been a few questions asked about these by me. Bosch dont reply.

The only protection is the fact that they are closely matched when new. But store them a year and thats no longer true. Subsequent charging may potentially cause a fire.
