FPH vs FPZ

Postby martin007 » 12 Dec 2025, 21:07

From July 1st, disunity (EU) will cause a new inflationary spiral.
A new import tax will be applied to packages under 150 euros.
Now they also want tariffs (we already pay VAT on imports)...
I'm buying some things beforehand.

Can any of you explain the difference between an FPH and an FPZ screwdriver?

Phillips (FPH) vs. Posidrive (FPZ) - the arms of the cross are shaped differently and the posidrive is less likely to slip. https://shop4fasteners.co.uk/blog/pozidriv-vs-phillips/ One thing for sure, the non-matching screwdriver tip and screw don't work well.

I understand.

I didn't know that Posidrive (FPZ) screws are used in electrical installations...

You find posidrive everywhere today. Most of the x head screws in all sorts of equipment are posidrive now.
