Sad news...

Postby steves1977uk » 06 Dec 2025, 18:09

Hey all,

Sadly my Mum passed away on 4th December from bone cancer which had spread to her brain. Her final days weren't very pleasant as the hospital never sorted palliative care for her. So my Brother Mark and Melissa (my PA) had to care for me and her. I feel angry because Mum didn't get the support she needed at the end of her life.

This is why I haven't been on here much recently as Mum was in and out of hospital this past year. At least now she's at peace.

Hello Steve,

Very sorry to hear of your loss, my thoughts are with you. We all react differently but for me I recalled all the funny times I had with my mum after losing her suddenly earlier this year. Members on this site I have seen are very supportive.

Take care,

Ian

It's regrettable that all resources aren't being used in these circumstances, I'm sorry Steve
