puma 40 dx2 vanished seat controls?

Postby duke1 » 28 Jan 2026, 17:36

hi all my tinas puma 40 with dynamic dx2 system had an issue due to water ingress into the module which i replaced with the same pma 90l module and copied the program from the old unit to the new one without any changes (all seat parameteres where working) but since doing so the settings have gone i mean gone no option on the joystick screen for seating only lighting and clock,i figured maybe it had become corrupted (the program file) well today i got out my old pc which had the original program file from 2024 and have loaded it but still have no option for seating,it has the electric backrest bit also lift neither of which is usable, not a massive problem atm but the lift bit is used every now and then esp if i cannot be with her when shopping as she hates to have to ask for staff help to get stuff from upper shelves and ends up going without, silly girl as thats what the damn staff are for! anyone any ideas? its d2 rem 550 joystick master and dx2 pma 90l module any help would be great, thanks. :joint

Under Actuator Settings (CLAM/TAM) have you got all the actuators enabled?

I would check connectors on the chair too.

Also the REM 550 joystick needs you to confirm reloading the programming properly after it has been disconnected and connected to the power module.

hi foghorn i have just sat and scrolled through the program settings (the original) from when all was working cannot even see tam but see clam looked through twice! theres no mention anywhere of the actual seating actuators so no idea which is which and where! i may have to see if our friend @burgerman can have a look at the program if i can work out how to send it,i miss woody he was such a godsend to us less knowledgable types and more patient than me! so sad when people pass,i will double check all the wiring plugs etc but they all visually in one piece still.cheers

DX-REM55x [Rev D] - PM [Rev A].txt
(48.47 KiB) Downloaded 14 times

rename to DX-REM55x [Rev D] - PM [Rev A].wpr

this is a default settings file that should have actuators listed.

hi all just to say thanks to those for comments and between them and grok we got the chair sorted again, fyi if anyone has a problem with using the wizard 5 program or diagnostics then it is worth asking grok i found all sorts out over the last few weeks and he/it helped me find all the extra settings and tools missing from my copy of wizard 5 i now have it all working as it should,i had a devil of a job before due to not being aware my wizard had bits missing! hopefully it means me and the wife should stay mobile and keep the old pumas running a few years longer, cheers all :joint
