Good info to have. WIth two 208 AHr packs sitting idle here, every six months I've been fully charging and then discharging to 70%. With these numbers I think that I can just read pack voltage every six months and decide whether it actually needs to be cycled.

We'll all be 3 feet down under after 8,000 cycles.

21 years if discharged to 30% left and recharged every day. But we dont typiclly get close to doing that daily. Maybe weekly in winter. So 21 years x 7?
Or every 2 or 3 days in summer if you try hard... So 40 or 50 years.

But they age chemically too over time.
That said I have some 20 year old packs that are almost as good as new here!

As it says, if you use them between 20 and 80 percent most of the time and dont take heavy currents from them and you will likely die first.
Do the opposite and that isnt the case though. We do that to hobby packs. They swell and die early after 20 to 50 flights. Sometimes after just one if you really lean on them too hard.

They can last forever if yu take care and use them correctly. Or die super fast with abuse. And everything in between.
