Can someone who has the new large screen controller tell me if the profile button can go up and down the profiles please.
Like on my old DX2 I could go 1-2-3-4-5 or 5-4-3-2-1
On my new R-Net system. It won't go down. So I have to stop, then cycle through the profiles.
Thanks

You dont want any invacare modern chairs they all have the same problem. Which means they are useless. Its all locked down unless THEY fix it. Rover may help.
delivered and basic reprogram and my tina took it down to the park and back then manoevered through the house passed the other chairs and says it steers fine now and adequate for hospitals and indoors at home and maybe if she has no other choice round to local shop might be ok,still silly sticky out corner smashers and sloppy meccano swingaway but there coming back to change it to a fixed one, there seems to be no mounting points for a centre footplate and she will have to get used to the extra set of casters, crash, crash, another hole in a door or wall
but a little wacky baccy goes a long way! duke1 wrote:yes whilst the so called wheelchair therapist understands little of the real important things he did listen and said that i obviously knew more about the chair than he did and his knowledge of the program is limited to dealer so only basics but enough given the right bribe to make it steer, some people will not be bribed with money orbut a little wacky baccy goes a long way!

But there's your problem, the tech won't be able to improve the steering because the values are locked in the OEM settings, unless you can convince Invacare to give you the OEM tools you need to be able to set it up correctly. Or tell WCS you're going to retrofit a PGDT control system that will allow you to set it up properly, ignore their BS rules and modify it like BM did back in 1997.

hi steves well she is happy enough with the way it steers and thats the main thing theres def no delays in steering now its ok.
rover220 wrote:I fear you are forgetting not all are as capable as BM when it comes to modding or retrofitting control systems.

Wrong! Thats the problem, you have nothing to compare it to that goes where its told.

I realise that rover, but it can be done with the correct plugs/connectors and tools. Also an OEM programmer.

no the right speed paddle can only adjust speed if the parameter is enabled in programming. profiles only step up not down regardless of programming.

I thought Curtiss-Wright didn't sell OEM programmers to us end users?Have they woken up and realised those that know what they're doing can buy them directly from CW without having to use a third-party? Or did Terry order from PSS?

I signed up for a account with them.
Then ordered a OEM over the phone. They are only £154 +shipping and vat
