I've built 2 different versions of the ttl board now and both do not seem to work for me. I suspect it's to do with my fake ftdi. maybe its not the right inversion or something..

So now i'm waiting on parts to build the original anubis board.

Gday Guys, Thanks to this forum I have successfully repurposed a dynamic controls based wheelchair to run from ROS2 on a RPi5 with a ESP32 talking to the shark power module. The end goal is a fully autonomous robot to take out my bins to the street on bin day. I am using the seat tilt actuator to tilt the bin but i need another actuator to grab the handle. This requires the max current setting of actuator 2 to be increased from 0A before it will move this actuator which has to be done with the programming software. I am building the TTL DWIZ-ADAPT from an earlier post here but could some one please send me a link to the special version of wizard 5 please? Thanks for all your hard work on these controls - has made my journey pretty easy!

So after reading all this, I am currently at a crossroads and looking for some advice. I built my 3-year-old a go-kart using a "Pride Victory 10". It utilizes the DR90-A01 controller, the wig-wag throttle pot, the speed limiting pot, and the rear trans axle with 400w 24v 4 pole motor. This thing is a tank and runs and drives perfectly...however, he is starting to get used to the speed. I want to upgrade the motor to a slightly faster 2-pole, and maybe upgrade batteries while I'm at it. I know that the DR90 will power everything I need, but not without programming due to certain settings causing havoc with start, stop, battery thresholds, and such.

So I'm trying to decide if I go down the road of paying for a over priced adatper, make my own and hope it all works out, or upgrade to a different controller. It seems that the USB-adapter everyone kept linking to is no longer available to be delivered in the United States.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Pride dont make controllers. Scooters are not my thing but the brand is Dynamic. I dont know what programmer that will need.

If you change motors you will want to set motor compensation mOhms for it to work right at very least. And brake voltage.

Ok,

So I now have a working cable with the Hirose connector and have been able to reprogram a couple of older Invacare chairs. The next step will be to build a circuit to replace the DWIZ-Adapt(er). I bought a cheap FTDI adapter board but I haven't been able to locate Windows 10 drivers for it. This is the board i got. Is it the right one?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/385402821490

I read somewhere that the official drivers don't work with the fake chips and since I haven't built the Woody's circuit I am at a crossroads if I should continue on this path or build the Anubis circuit. I would like to use Windows 10/11 to run the Wizard program.

Any recommendations?

cheers, Harri
